This nightlight provides a randomized light display in three colors.
There is a Light Dependant Resistor (LDR) that ensures the nightlight only operates when it is dark. A potentiometer controls the rate of the fading and brightening of the LEDs.
The project uses one PICAXE 08m on a protoboard, and makes use of the chip's Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) to control the brightness.
