Automated Home Humidistat

Description

There's a saying in Colorado, "If you don't like the weather, wait 20 minutes." So keeping my home at the recommended relative humidity (rH) was a challenge.

Since it can be 70°F one day and 30°F the next during the winter months, the recommended rH level for my home was a moving target. When the manual humidistat quit working, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for a PICAXE project to automate my home's humidifier.

With the help of the knowledgeable folks in the PICAXE forums, I built just that using a PICAXE 18M2+, HIH-5031 humidity sensor, DS18B20 temperature sensor, SAA1064 seven segment driver and some other bits.
